Engineering work at Kingsferry Bridge, the road and rail link to the Isle of Sheppey, is scheduled for the night of Thursday 3 April 1997.
Engineers will be carrying out essential work between 00:30 and 0500. During this time the bridge will be closed to road traffic.
The work has been planned by Railtrack in consultation with the local authority and the emergency services.
Members of the public can obtain further information from Kent County Council Emergency Planning by telephoning or 01622 694817, Mondays to Fridays, between 0900 and 1700.
