More than 200,000 Tube passengers can now beat the Monday morning queues by buying and renewing period Travelcards for the following week on Fridays.

Passengers wanting a new weekly, monthly or longer period Travelcard to start on a Sunday, Monday or Tuesday after a Bank Holiday can now buy one at any Underground Station from 1000 the previous Friday. New monthly and longer period tickets can be bought any time the previous day.

Weeklies can now be renewed at any time on the day before the ticket is due to start. Passengers wanting a ticket to start on a Sunday, Monday or Tuesday after a Bank Holiday can now renew it any time from the previous Friday.

Monthly and longer period tickets can be renewed up to seven days in advance.
