Worried about losing your train tickets? Adding another ten minutes contingency to your journey time to buy your ticket at the station? Relax - Hull Trains has the solution.

Hull Trains, which runs four direct services to London from Hull, has a unique ticketing service to enable customers to buy their tickets over the telephone and collect them on board their train. Sales and Marketing Managing Paul Lakin said, "These days we all seem to be in a rush, and having to allow extra time to buy your tickets at the station can waste time and add to stress, particularly if your on a tight schedule or a running late. This just a simple innovation to try and reduce the hassle of every day life and is another service we are offering to make travel easier. As far as I'm aware, we are the only the train operator to offer this personal service."

Rail Passenger Committee Secretary for North Eastern England, Ernie Preston, said "Hull Trains has a strong reputation for customer service and we applaud innovations like this one which is designed to make the passenger's life easier."

To take advantage of the service, all customers have to do is book their tickets in advance over the telephone by calling 01482 60 63 88 and request that the tickets can be collected on departure; the train crew will have tickets waiting.
