The office complex, featuring 40,000 sq.ft of high quality accommodation, will bring about great improvements to the station and surrounding area and will also have its own parking facilities as well as enhancing those of the station. Bob Hill, Railtrack director of property said: "This redevelopment will realise a significant improvement to the environment around Epsom Station and will give rail users a much better station facility. I am very pleased to be working with London & Midlands Property Ltd and look forward to this exciting project being completed before the turn of the millennium." Steven Byrne, director of London & Midlands Property Ltd commented: "We are delighted to have been selected as development partner by Railtrack and together with our professional team, look forward to the successful redevelopment of this important site. London & Midlands Property Ltd in partnership with Railtrack anticipate a close working relationship with both Epsom and Ewell council and the train operator, Connex South Central, in completing this major project by the start of the new millennium." Genny Chard, Sutton Station Manager, Connex South Central said of the scheme: "We welcome the planned transformation of the station which will be of great benefit to our customers and enhance significantly our image in the area.
