  Railtrack appoints new Group Treasurer

Railtrack today announced the appointment of Martin Wood as its Group Treasurer. Mr Wood, 37, joins Railtrack from Severn Trent plc where he held the post of Assistant Treasurer.
He has extensive financial experience of the water industry gained both before and after privatisation. He is a Certified Accountant and was one of the first candidates to pass the Corporate Treasury examinations in 1988.
